2009-ben Kevin Jackson és Treehugger Dan jótékonysági célból teljesítette a Balaton-átúszás 5,2 km-s távját. Kedvezményezett a Védegylet Egyesület, cél: a magyar fair trade kampány támogatása. Dan idén is teljesíti a távot július 24-én. Valaki 1 Ft/meter összeget ajánlott fel, valaki egy bizonyos összeget Dan teljesítménye után. Nem számít, ha 100 vagy 5000 Ft a felajánlás, mind értékes. KÖSZÖNJÜK! Swim for Fair Trade! Last year Kevin Jackson and Treehugger Dan did the 5.2km Balaton Swim for charity, the beneficiary being the Hungarian Fair Trade Campaign of local NGO Vedegylet. Dan is going to do it again this year on July 24th. Some people like to promise 1 forint/meter, others a certain amount if you complete the entire swim.
